HIDEOUT
Top - G2000. Shorts - Cotton On.
Not so long ago, Bea discovered this neat little hideout encapsulated with bougainvillea. Unfortunately, the bush had already died so all the leaves were scattered across the floor though it still made a pretty sight (as seen in the photo above). Playing in the bed of leaves was quite fun and felt a childhood memory of playing with fallen leaves during Fall season which I obviously never had - what with being in a tropical country with only two seasons and whatnot.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
Faux leather jacket - Hong Kong. Slip dress and boots - Topshop.
Rather than wearing an outfit with the usual red or pink colour scheme for Valentine's Day - because let's face it, it's pretty cliche - I decided to go for a darker palette. Since it's been quite chilly lately, I decided to throw on my pleather jacket and also to avoid looking too sultry because slip dresses do just that. I also collaborated with Abraham who's a fellow blogger (whose blog you should totes check out like, now) and good friend of mine for today's post by cross coordinating our outfits! One of my talented friends, Aquinna, also did my make-up for today. It was loads of fun and I hope I get to collaborate with other bloggers more often. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Eat your heart out, watch movies, don't be lonely!

MAKE LIGHT
Cropped sweater - Bershka. Button down - Banana Republic. Pleather shorts - Cotton On. Chelsea boots - Topshop.
Being scolded by a guard and telling my sister and I to leave because apparently shooting in front of a door is illegal (or not). Or maybe I should take it as a sign to stick with my neighbors garage doors. How can you not make this your backdrop though? Just look at that gorgeous yellow colour. It looks so rich in photos and may or may not give slight eyegasm. On the brightside, at least we were able to steal a few good shots before we were shoo-ed away like a fly. Can we also talk about how good the weather has been here lately? Thank you, weather gods for the chilly weather and for allowing us to wear light layers without having a sweatfest.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Sweater - Bershka. Top - Mango. Skirt - UM.
'Tis the season for major food baby + food coma, blasting Christmas songs, and gift opening. While some of you are having a frigid Christmas, I'm having a temperate one which allows bare legs and only minimal layering. I probably look so cheesy for wearing a green and red ensemble haha. Currently preparing myself for the holiday feast and I'm stoked. Unbelievable how the year's going to end in a few days. Bittersweet but I'm ready for what's in store for me in 2014. I hope you're all having a wonderful Christmas! Happy Holidays! x
*posting in advance because i'm sure you'll be busy tomorrow x

SILVER LINING
Sweater, skirt, and rings - H&M. Top - Romwe. Boots - Cotton On.
This sweater is definitely the icing on the cake in this outfit. I'm currently obsessed with it and it has made it's way to my list of "clothes that I'll probably never get rid of". I just hate the fact that it's extremely delicate. I have to be 10x careful when I'm wearing it - and I still need to be careful even when I'm not - because it unravels when it gets caught on something and velcro is my number one enemy but other than that, it's a really great piece and I'm glad I got the last one in my size. Four for me!

DARK PARADISE
Sweater - Bershka. Shorts - Cotton On. Shoes - Topshop.
These botanical printed shorts from Cotton On will be as close as I could get from owning the Ksubi Tropical ones. Just a quick outfit post to keep this blog alive. I'm currently working on doing some major changes to Sartorialust because you guys deserve nothing but the best. There's no telling when I'll be finished though so just keep an eye out on my Twitter for the announcement. I'd also like to say that December has been pretty wicked so far thanks to all the great things happening - that, and because the holidays are upon us. I hope you're all having a fantabulous December too!

ESCAPOLOGY
Shirt - Topshop. Skirt - H&M. Necklace - gift. Shoes - Converse.
Steered clear of anything plain and in my comfort zone during my last shopping spree to add "life" to my boring wardrobe. It was an achievement for me to be able to do such since 90% of what I grab in a store is either black or print-less. There is no in between. This shirt may or may not look like it came from a hippie's closet but I love it anyway (radical dude, like totally). To avoid major eye damage to anyone, I balanced it out with a plain, black, pleather skirt.

BRAVADO
Top - Topshop. Skirt - Street Beat Boutique. Shoes - Converse.
I can already hear students groan "ugh, school" and because waking up at 6am isn't justifiable. I'll spare you guys the whining about having school again tomorrow. In spite of not having an official term break, I felt like I had one. I spent four days of my school-free week in Hong Kong eating what seemed like a lifetime worth of sushi and ramen non-stop then slipping into a food coma afterwards.
With no idea on how to transition from my previous paragraph to the next, I'll just abruptly move on to the next topic. Currently debating with myself whether or not I should post the last set of photos from my shoot with Aya. But for now, I'm going to be total cliffhanger and leave you with these. Also, I'm trying to reply to your comments as an attempt to improve my blogger-reader relationship because you guys are the bomb dot com. Sorry for the word vomit on this blog post too.

MILKMAID
Hat - Cotton On. Shirt - G2000. Necklace - gift. Bracelet - Sue Lyn. Shorts - Romwe. Shoes - Converse.
Warning: Too much hat grabbing going on.
These shorts are the only thing in my closet that has an animal print on them. I feel like a farmer's daughter wearing them (country chic anyone?). They're such a refreshing break from all the leopard/cheetah printed stuff that's usually sported. Speaking of breaks, another long weekend is coming up and there is going to be an abundance of juveniles on a sugar high. Halloween is that one day where it's completely acceptable to eat a crapload of candy like there's no tomorrow. Who/what will you dress up as for Halloween? I'd probably be in animal onesie more or less.

AFTERGLOW
Sweater - Forever 21. Skirt - UM. Socks - H&M. Shoes - Hong Kong.
After weeks of waiting for good weather, Aya and I became a bunch of euphoria-filled teens who were finally able to shoot. In a span of two hours that consisted of location hunting and running back and forth to the car for outfit change, we were able to shoot a total of four outfits so be prepared for a few more posts coming your way! I'm too excited to show you the rest. I need to restrain myself from posting earlier than the scheduled date. Also, Velma Dinkley anyone? Where are my glasses!?
